General Entry Requirements (Undergraduate)
A. WASSCE / SSSCE Applicants (Most Common Route)
- Credit passes (A1–C6 / A–D) in all three core subjects: English, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science
- Credit passes (A1–C6 / A–D) in Social Studies (must be entered but not always used in aggregate)
- Credit passes in three elective subjects relevant to the programme (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics for most health programmes)
- Minimum aggregate: Programme-specific (typically 8–12 for competitive programmes)
B. A-Level / GCE Applicants
- Five (5) credits at O’Level including English and Mathematics
- Three passes at A-Level in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology
C. Mature Applicants
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Pass the UHAS Mature Entrance Examination and Interview
D. International / Foreign Qualifications
- Must be equivalent to Ghanaian standards
- Certificates must be evaluated by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC)
- English proficiency required if previous education was not in English
E. Graduate Entry (for GEMP & Top-Up)
- Relevant first degree with minimum GPA of 2.5–3.0 (depending on programme)

- Visit the Portal Go to https://admissions.uhas.edu.gh/ Enter Serial Number + PIN from your voucher
- Complete Online Application Fill personal details, academic records, and programme choices (you can select up to two programmes)
- Upload Required Documents (scanned copies)
- WASSCE/SSSCE results slip or certificate
- Birth certificate / Ghana Card / Passport
- Passport-size photo
