UCC Masters (Postgraduate) Admissions 2026/2027 Now Open

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially opened applications for its Masters, MPhil, MBA, MSc, MA, MEd and other postgraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year.

General Entry Requirements for Masters Programmes

A good first degree (Second Class Lower or better) in a relevant field from a recognised university
For competitive programmes (e.g., MBA, MPhil): Second Class Upper preferred
Some programmes may require relevant work experience
MPhil/PhD applicants usually need a strong research proposal and may be called for interview

Documents Required for UCC Masters Application

You will need to upload scanned copies of the following during the online application:

Academic Transcripts (official transcripts from your previous university)
Degree Certificate (or Statement of Results)
Birth Certificate or Ghana Card or Passport (as proof of date of birth)
Two Academic/Professional Referee Reports (one must preferably be from your former lecturer or supervisor)
Passport-size photograph
Statement of Purpose or Research Proposal (especially for MPhil and research-based programmes – usually 2–3 pages)
English proficiency certificate (if your previous degree was not in English)
