ToggleGNPC Foundation Scholarship
GNPC Foundation Scholarship is a fully/partially funded programme run by the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation. It supports brilliant but needy Ghanaian students to help build local skills (especially for Ghana’s petroleum and broader economy).
Key Features
- Local scholarships (main focus): For undergraduate and postgraduate (Masters/PhD) study at accredited tertiary institutions in Ghana (primarily public; some private for postgrad).
- Foreign scholarships: Limited awards for Masters/PhD abroad, with preference for STEM, special-needs education, lecturers at public institutions, persons with disability, and tuition-free universities.
- Coverage (typical for local awards): Full or substantial tuition/fees, accommodation or living stipend, book allowance, and sometimes project/dissertation support. Recent updates confirm tuition payments for 2025/2026 beneficiaries (stipends sometimes delayed).
- The Foundation has supported thousands of students overall (over 9,700 historically; around 1,390 on the national scheme at recent counts) and partnered with others (e.g., KGL Foundation) to expand places.
