Scholarship Benefits (2026/2027 Academic Year)

Full tuition fee waiver (you only pay the regional tax + stamp duty, approx. €200–300 per year)
€8,000 annual allowance (gross amount) – paid in two instalments of €4,000 each
Duration: 3 years for Bachelor’s, 2 years for Master’s (renewable based on merit – you must earn sufficient ECTS credits each year)

Eligibility Criteria

International students only you must not hold Italian citizenship (dual Italian citizenship disqualifies you)
Non-resident in Italy at the time of application
Excellent academic record
Applying to an English-taught Bachelor’s or Master’s programme at the University of Padua
For Bachelor’s: Non-Italian high school diploma (WASSCE is accepted)
For Master’s: Non-Italian Bachelor’s degree

You are automatically considered when you apply for admission to an eligible English-taught programme.

PhD Note: This specific Excellence Scholarship is only for Bachelor’s and Master’s. The University offers separate PhD positions with funding (many fully funded), but not under the Padua International Excellence Scholarship.
