(a) ORDAINED MINISTER OR CHAPLAIN
Have at least a first degree in Theology. Be of good standing in a Christian denomination approved by the Ghana Catholic Secretariat, the Christian Council of Ghana, the Pentecostal Council of Ghana or other recognized Christian Bodies.
(b) IMAM
Have at least a first degree in Islamic Studies with an excellent Knowledge in Arabic. ii. Be of good standing in a Muslim denomination approved by any of the following bodies, the office of the National/Regional Chief Imam, the office of the Ameer of the Ahmadiva Muslim Mission or other similar nationally recognized Muslim bodies.

Entry Requirements for 2025 Recruits (Non-Tradesmen)
A) GENERAL DUTIES
i. Firefighters and Rescue Crew. In addition to satisfying the general eligibility, applicants must have the following: a. Five (5) passes SSCE / WASSCE including English Language and Mathematics. b. Intermediate Credits in the Ghana Education Service (GES) Certificate, and a pass in English and Mathematics or ‘A’ Level or ‘O’ Level with credit in English.
B) ACCOUNTING OFFICERS
In addition to general eligibility applicants must have any of the following. i. Six(6) Passes including English and Mathematics at WASSCE with Accounting or Business options. ii. RSA Stage III in Accounting. iii. Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting Option). iv. HND Accounting.
C) MEDICAL AND ALLIED SCIENCES.
In addition to general eligibility, applicants must have any of the following with at least one (1) year working experience in a recognized health facility:
(1) General Nurses. 3 Year Diploma in Nursing (Registered General Nursing/Registered Community Health Nursing/Emergency Nursing) and must have completed the mandatory rotation. Must have registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Ghana.
(2) Midwives. Diploma in Midwifery (Registered Midwifery) and must have completed the mandatory rotation.
(3) Pharmacy Technicians. HND / 3 year Diploma in Dispensing Technology must have completed the mandatory national service.
(4) Technical Officers (Dental Surgery Assistant/Technology). 3 year Diploma in Dental Surgery option and must have completed the mandatory national service.
(5) Technical Officers (Radiology). 3 year Diploma in Radiology Technology and must have completed the mandatory national service.
(6) Technical Officers (Nutrition). 3 year Diploma in Public Health (Nutrition) or Food Health & Nutrition and must have completed the mandatory national service.
(7) Technical Officers (Health Promotion). 3 year Diploma in Public Health (Health Promotion) and must have completed the mandatory national service.
(8) Technical Officers (Disease Control & Surveillance). 3 year Diploma in Public Health (Disease Control) plus one (1) year mandatory national service.
(9) Technical Officers (Medical Laboratory). 3 year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology plus one (1) year mandatory national service.
(10) Technical Officers (Physiotherapy). 3 year Diploma in Physiotherapy plus one (1) year mandatory national service.
(11) Technical Officers (Health Information Systems). 3 year Diploma in Public Health (Informatics/Information) national service.
(12) Technical Officers (Bio-Statistics). 3 year Diploma in Health Statistics plus one (1) year mandatory national service.
(13) Psychiatry/Mental Nurses. 3 year Diploma in Mental Nursing (Registered Mental Nursing) from an accredited institution of higher learning. Must be in good standing with the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Ghana.
(14) Technical Officers (Optical). 3 year Diploma in Optical Technology from an accredited institution of higher learning.
(15) Nurse Assistants Clinical. Certificate in Nursing (Registered Nurse Assistant Clinical) from an accredited institution of higher learning plus one (1) year mandatory national service.
(16) Medical Laboratory Assistants. Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution of higher learning plus one (1) year mandatory national service.
(17) Biomedical Technician. CTVET/GES Diploma in Biomedical and Electro Medical Engineering, CTVET/GES Radio, TV and Electronics Part I, CTVET/GES Refrigeration Mechanic Part II, CTVET/NABTEX Certificate II in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology.
D) CATERING/HOSPITALITY
In addition to general eligibility, applicants must have HND / 3 Year Diploma in Hotel Tourism Hospitality Management plus one (1) year mandatory national service. GES (COTVET) Certificate II in Hospitality and Catering Management. Intermediate Certificate in Food and Beverage Service.
E) RECORDS AND ARCHIVES
In addition to general eligibility, applicants must have Diploma in Archival Studies, Diploma in Records Management from an accredited institution of higher learning.
F) SURVEYORS
In addition to general eligibility, applicants must have GSSM Certificate in Surveying, GES Intermediate Certificate in Surveying, COTVET Certificate II in Surveying, Certificate in Surveying (GSSM).
