To strengthen domestic healthcare services in support of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund and the Ghana Labour Exchange Programme, the Ministry of Health has scaled up and introduced new Post-Basic Specialised Nursing Programmes in the following areas:

Professional Certification:

 Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be medically fit and not more than 40 years old.
- Passion for the specialised area of nursing care and commitment to serve in Ghana’s health system.
- Diploma in Registered General Nursing, Diploma in Midwifery, or Registered Mental Health Nursing.
- Completed one-year Mandatory Rotation/Internship/National Service.
- Two (2) years work experience in an area of interest (Public or Private Sector).
- Valid Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Step-by-Step Application Process
- Visit the official portal: https://register.healthtraining.gov.gh Application fee: GH¢150.00
- After payment, you will receive a voucher with a unique PIN and Serial Number.
- Provide a dedicated phone number and a valid personal email address.
- Enter your residential address and Ghana Post Digital Address.
- Use the PIN and Serial Number to access the online form and upload scanned copies of your academic and professional certificates.
- Complete all stages carefully (the form is only accessible with the PIN).
- Use the same PIN & Serial Number to track your application status.
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a competitive interview at the school of their choice.
