In line with the annual promotion cycle, these exams represent a key milestone for teachers seeking advancement in their careers, fostering professional growth and leadership within Ghana’s education sector.

The announcement, detailed in a formal letter dated December 6, 2025, from GES Headquarters, confirms that the promotion examinations for eligible teachers will take place over two consecutive days: Monday, December 29, 2025, and Tuesday, December 30, 2025. This timely release ensures that candidates have sufficient preparation time amid the year-end academic calendar.

Examination Schedule and Details

The exams are structured to assess candidates for various senior positions, with specific sessions allocated as follows:

All candidates are required to report to their designated examination centers no later than 08:30 AM on each day. Essential requirements include presenting an original Ghana Card (national ID) and any other specified materials.
