
Accra, October 21, 2025 – The Ghana National Association of Teachers on Campus (GNATOC) National Secretariat has raised concerns over unresolved issues affecting teachers on study leave with pay regarding GES promotions and salary arrears. The association has received numerous complaints from members, highlighting the following key issues:

Teachers promoted but yet to receive their promotion letters.

Teachers promoted with letters but not placed on the correct salary scale.

Qualified teachers who applied for promotion but have not been promoted.

Teachers promoted with letters, placed on the correct salary scale, but without payment of salary arrears.
Following engagements with key authorities, GNATOC is calling for accurate data compilation from all affected teachers to resolve these issues. Campus and Institutional Presidents/Chairmen are tasked with coordinating and submitting data using the provided format, ensuring accuracy and verifiability. Only teachers on study leave with pay should be included, and the compiled data must reach the National Secretariat by Friday, October 24, 2025, through appropriate GNATOC channels.
The association urges all affected members to collaborate fully with their campus executives to ensure a swift resolution. GNATOC remains committed to advocating for the welfare of its members.
