About the Programme
This programme is designed to train and prepare advanced mental health professionals with leadership, clinical, administrative, and research competencies.
By the end of the programme, graduates should be able to:

Take up leadership roles in nursing and health care delivery.

Demonstrate intellectual and analytical skills to function effectively in nursing education.

Deliver evidence-based nursing care as advanced clinical nurse practitioners.
-
Acquire the foundation needed to pursue doctoral degree programmes.
-
Work effectively within complex organizational and political systems at local, national, and international levels.

Gain advanced knowledge and practical skills in nursing administration.
-
Exhibit administrative and leadership skills in managing health care units within the framework of national health policy.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must:
-
Hold a professional certificate or tertiary level diploma, with credit passes in English Language and Mathematics (G.C.E. “O” Level or SSSCE/WASSCE).

Be Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) with at least three years of work experience.
-
Have studied at the certificate or diploma level in a recognised Nursing Training College (NTC).
-
Hold an active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
-
Successfully pass a written test and interview.
-
Complete a health check and provide satisfactory references if offered admission.
