Aim:
The aim of the Hospitality Management programme is to produce graduates who have the requisite skills and attitude to supervise or manage hospitality-related businesses in Ghana and beyond.
Programme objectives:
The objectives of the B.Sc. Hospitality Management programmes are to: • train high-calibre personnel to meet the human resource needs of the fledgling Hospitality and Tourism industry in the country; • provide opportunity for people, including hospitality and tourism practitioners, to upgrade their professional knowledge and proficiency in tourism management; • facilitate the career progression of personnel in the Hospitality and Tourism industry through exposure to best practices in the industry; • enhance students’ theoretical and practical knowledge of issues relating to hospitality and tourism; and • assist students in developing an affinity for globalisation and increasing inter-dependence of people and cultures.Programme Structure

This programme is looking for passionate individuals from diverse academic backgrounds who are ready to take on this challenge.
You are eligible to apply if you have:

A WASSCE Certificate with a background in Geography, Science, Agricultural Science, or Home Economics. You need a minimum of passes (C6 or better) in three core subjects (English, Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies*) and three elective subjects.

Note: A better grade in Social Studies may be used to meet the cutoff point if it advantages the applicant.

A Diploma or HNDÂ from a Polytechnic or other accredited institution in a related field.
