2026 UCC Scholarship for Needy but Brilliant Students: Application Details

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has announced the 2026 UCC Scholarship for financially challenged yet academically outstanding students. If you meet the eligibility criteria, this is an excellent opportunity to secure financial support for your education. Below are the key details:


Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:

  1. Be a Ghanaian by birth.

  2. Be enrolled as a full-time regular or distance student at UCC.

  3. Have completed at least one semester with a minimum CGPA of 2.5.

  4. Demonstrate financial need and provide supporting documents.

  5. Be academically brilliant/promising as determined by the university.

  6. Show excellent academic progress.

Additional Requirement for Level 100 Students:

  • Submit first-semester examination results and WASSCE results.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to activate your MYUCC account and apply:

  1. Log in to your UCC student portal.

  2. Navigate to the sidebar/side menu.

  3. Select the ‘eLearning’ link.

  4. Follow the account activation instructions.

  5. Once activated, proceed to the scholarship application.

  6. Log in using your registration number (in lowercase) as the username.

  7. For technical issues, contact the StuFSO help desk.
