Adisadel College Launches 2026 WASSCE Academic Excellence Seminar
Adisadel College has officially launched its annual WASSCE Academic Excellence Seminar, a two-week intensive program specially designed to prepare all final year students for the upcoming West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The seminar, which runs from Monday, 13th April to Friday, 24th April 2026, brings together Heads of Department and subject teachers from all four academic programs General Arts, Science, Business, and Visual Arts to deliver high-quality, WAEC syllabus-aligned revision, mock examinations, and targeted feedback sessions.

Headmaster’s Address
In his keynote speech, Headmaster Mr. Samuel Kofi Agudogo reaffirmed the institution’s strong commitment to academic excellence. He welcomed the final year students with inspiring words:
“It is with great pride and an unwavering commitment to your future that I welcome every final year student of Adisadel College to the WASSCE Academic Excellence Seminar, a program my predecessors conceived and championed as part of this institution’s determination to see every student excel in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination.
The WASSCE is not merely a measure of what you have memorized; it is a test of understanding, reasoning, and confident communication of knowledge under examination conditions. It is the gateway through which you will step into university education, career pathways, and the broader world.
As your Headmaster, I take it as my personal responsibility to ensure that no Adisco final year student walks into that examination hall without the best possible preparation.
This seminar, running from Monday, 13th April to Friday, 24th April 2026, brings together the collective expertise of our Heads of Department and subject teachers across all four programs: General Arts, Science, Business, and Visual Arts. Over two intensive weeks, you will revisit core content, sharpen your examination answering skills, sit mock examinations, and receive targeted feedback designed to close every knowledge gap before WAEC begins.
I urge you to treat every session of this seminar with the same seriousness you would the examination itself. Attendance, engagement, and daily personal revision are non-negotiable. Adisadel has always produced men of distinction, and I have no doubt that the Class of 2026 will uphold and surpass that proud tradition.”
Seminar Objectives
Academic Headmaster Mr. Joseph Alex Mensah outlined the key objectives of the program:
- Provide comprehensive, WAEC syllabus-aligned revision for all core and elective subjects.
- Strengthen students’ ability to interpret examination questions accurately and construct well-structured responses.
- Build examination confidence through mock assessments, timed practice, and structured feedback.
- Bridge identified knowledge gaps across all subject areas before the WASSCE commences.
- Foster a culture of disciplined, self-directed study among final year students.
- Prepare students academically, mentally, and emotionally for the demands of a high-stakes national examination.
Mr. Mensah also unveiled the seminar’s structure, which includes subject-specific workshops, mock examinations, interactive feedback sessions, and motivational talks.
