- Because the portal now shows zero or negative affordability (based on December 2025 data), many financial institutions are automatically cancelling pending loan applications or rejecting new ones.
- Even workers who previously had a healthy affordability balance (from before December 2025) are now affected.
- New loan processing has virtually stopped for those showing zero affordability.
- Applicants must wait for the system to restore accurate affordability figures before re-applying or contracting new loans.
