MSc Cyber Security and Digital Forensics – Programme Overview
Introduction
The threat of cybersecurity attacks is becoming increasingly evident to individuals and organizations worldwide. From hacking to phishing, scamming to grooming, botnets to cyber-terrorism, the range and sophistication of exploits keep expanding.
The increasing reliance on the internet in telecommunications, banking, education, governance, manufacturing, media, and national security has also fueled malicious digital activities.
This programme focuses on two core areas:
-
Cyber Security – Protecting computers, networks, programs, and data from unauthorized access, change, or destruction.
-
Digital Forensics – Critically analyzing digital evidence using scientific methods to understand criminal behavior and assess economic impacts.
The MSc Cyber Security and Digital Forensics degree is designed to fill the skills gap by equipping students with advanced knowledge and techniques to combat cybercrime and enhance forensic investigations.
